APPLICATION INFORMATION
- A non-refundable application fee of $25.00 and a Criminal history Records Review will be due with the submittal of the membership application. The records review document must be a stamped and dated original document. Rhode Island residents must obtain the review from the RI Attorney Generals Office, Bureau of Criminal Identification, 150 South Main Street, Providence, RI 02903, Tel: (401) 274-4400. Out of state residents must obtain the review from their designated statewide law enforcement agency. Active law enforcement offices and current up to date concealed weapons permit holders are exempt from the records review process. Applicants wishing to secure the BCI check by mail should submit the sheet marked document 1. Signed and Notarized along with the check for $ 5.00 made out to RI Attorney Generals Office
- Applications approved by the committee and accepted by the general membership at their next monthly meeting, will be notified by mail, Payment of the initiation fee of $125.00 will be due at that time
- The annual dues of $100.00 shall be payable in the month of january of each year
- An active or lifetime member must sponsor applicants
- A new member shall serve a one-year probationary period. The member must attend a minimum of 6 regular monthly meetings per year and serve on four 4-hour work parties. Probationary members shall hold no office, nor shall sponsor new members during the period of probation. Probationary period is one full year from activation of membership
- In addition to the annual dues payment, all members are expected to participate in all yearly fundraising activities
